Craziest fish story?
That’s a long list, but probably working a 13.5lb walleye all the way up from bottom in 32 feet of water and eventually hooking him just a few feet below the ice, coming off in the hole, then lipping and pinning him in the hole as it shredded my hand.
Who got you into fishing?
My dad was an ultimate outdoorsman, but hunting was his main deal and passion. After a fishing trip or two at age 6, I was hooked.
Where do you wish you were right now?
Right where I am, successfully making a good living in the fishing industry.
Dream job if you weren't fishing?
Sounds cheesy, but I am living it.
Least favorite part of your job?
At times, best part of the job is the people, worst part of it can be the people. But bad weather is always hard on gear, fishing and the body.
What makes a good fisherman?
Passion, paying attention to what’s happening, hard work and a never quit attitude.
Something nobody knows about you?
No secrets, I’m an open book…I wear it on my sleeve and speak it like it is.
